We love television and we love self-identified queer women and we love when we can have both at the same time. While the representation in the last year has certainly increased, the amount of self-identified queer female characters currently on television is still severely lacking. Each week in our show, and without taking ourselves too seriously, we’re breaking down these queer characters and storylines by bringing you the good, the bad, and the gay of the queer fangirl’s world.
Erica is a co-founder of the Harold They’re Lesbians Podcast. During the day she is a course administrator at Harvard Medical School and when she isn’t busy trying to explain what that actually means, she can be found running, eating, podcasting, and watching as much television as humanly possible. Erica resides in Boston, MA with her partner Nikki.
Nikki is a queer archivist living in Boston, MA. In her spare time, she co-hosts the Harold They’re Lesbians Podcast with her partner, Erica. She is passionate about television shows, specifically shows with positive queer and minority representation. Her favorite ships include Kadena, Sanvers, and WayHaught, but ask her again next month and she will probably have found new favorites.
